Key players for the Nat. team after IPL-7

With the IPL-7 already into its second leg, it has very much been a team effort by all teams unlike a single player like Gayle taking a team all the way, except for Maxwell. So once the extravaganza is over and after things settle down a bit, the players will be back to cement their place in their national side for the World Cup next year.

Here are some of the players who will definitely feature in the WC-15 :

       Glenn Maxwell :

Surely he is the easiest to fill the list for, he has been in such great form! he’s amassed over 350+ runs with just 6 games played and will definitely cement his place in the Australian squad. For only the IPL viewers, he may seem as an obvious choice but it isn’t the case actually. Maxi has been in and out of the team so many teams since his debut. But with the form he is in, he is definitely going to be a key player for the Kangaroos. Don’t be surprised if he is even made the deputy to George Bailey.

      James Faulkner :

He is just in the same category as Glenn Maxwell. So no need to explain much about him.

      Yuzvendra Chahal :

Although he still has a very big mountain to climb, there is no reason to deny the talented youngster a chance, at least in the initial squad. He brings the depth as a genuine leggie that India has been lacking since Kumble’s departure. By far, he is the best revelation in the IPL-7 So why can’t the selectors give him a chance instead of picking up Mishra for warming the bench!

     Sanju Samson :

Everybody knows how good he is. One needn’t look further than the Rajasthan Royals’ squad to hand over the game to the next generation. Everybody from Steve Smith to Samson has been nurtured by the Royals. Age isn’t a factor if talent can make up for it.

Let’s all wish that everybody continuously plays well for their teams to earn a call up to their national squads.
